Long Covid?

I am treating an increasing number of patients  suffering the chronic  symptoms of Long Covid.

  • shortness of breath.
  • chest pain or tightness.
  • problems with memory and concentration (“brain fog”)
  • difficulty sleeping (insomnia)
  • heart palpitations.
  • dizziness.

If you are unlucky enough to be suffering from these symptoms, you may find that acupuncture can substantially help in your recovery.

Joanna Leytham

MASSAGE THERAPIST AND YOGA INSTRUCTOR

I am an experienced Massage Therapist and Yoga Instructor. I believe in treating the client holistically focusing on therapeutic remedy, maintenance, future prevention and encouraging client self-awareness. I have been interested in holistic therapies most of my life. They have helped me with ailments including stress and anxiety. It is from a place of personal experience I authentically and enthusiastically bring these therapies to my clients.

I specialise in Ashtanga Yoga, a vigorous and dynamic Yoga style, synchronising flowing movements with the breath. I also teach Hatha and Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra.

Yoga and Massage both work towards healing and balancing the body and calming the mind.I am ITEC and CPD qualified in various Massage treatments: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy (NMT), Myofascial Release, Aromatherapy, Raindrop and Vitaflex Technique, Pregnancy, Relaxation, Thai Body Massage, Thai Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Facials. I specialise in Deep Tissue Massage with Trigger Point Therapy and Myofascial Release, which I find very effective to release chronic muscle tension; to oxygenate and hydrate areas; to allow the spine and joints to relax into alignment and to increase the pliability and mobility of the body. I use Neal’s Yard remedies or Young Living essential oils for all the treatments I offer, which are natural, organic and ethical. I tend to tailor treatments relating to the client’s needs and the results they would like so mostly offer personalised treatments combining various techniques. The benefits to Massage therapy are abundant such as absolute relaxation, relief of tensions and pain, increased circulation, increased elasticity of the skin, flexibility and lightness of the body and harmonising of the physiology of the body.

Cas Bourne-Jones, Psychotherapist

I am very pleased to join The Lansdown Clinic as a Psychotherapist in Training and am able to offer affordable psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and welcoming environment.

Coming from a humanistic and integrative perspective enables me to work with you in offering a compassionate and accepting therapy in order that we can explore hidden, buried or distressing experiences. Sometimes we meet difficult challenges and relationships in our lives, which could form unhealthy blocks to our normal happy and healthy living.

We may –

  • have buried or unwanted feelings that keep resurfacing causing pain and suffering
  • be struggling in coming to terms with loss and grief
  • have a desire to understand our anger, frustration or fear
  • be facing depression or anxiety which has become too much to bear

People explore therapy for many different reasons, which are unique to the individual. Therapy can help in rebuilding new pathways to knowing ourselves. I am offering an empathic listening space for you to be heard, my presence on a safe and trusting journey and my commitment to issues around connection and identity.

Psychotherapy can be long term and open ended or time limited – this is a personal decision and we can work together on deciding what best suits your needs. I believe that when one can find trust and dialogue in the therapeutic relationship, there is an opportunity for creativity and healing.

Whilst in private practice, I am studying for an MA in Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy at BCPC, Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling. BCPC is a professional body, which is accredited by UKCP, United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy, of which I am also a trainee member. I am legally bound in following their Codes of Ethics and Practice.

Back in Tune Coaching with Michelle Falcon -NLP Coaching & Cognitive Hypnotherapy, Bath

I’m all about you in that I put my clients at the centre of what I do, helping you to feel better, quickly, safely and effectively. If you are at an emotional crisis point right now or you just want to do some personal development work, please know that I love to get you back in tune with your true self, so that you can carry on creating the life that you want.

Whatever distress you are feeling, I am here to help, so whether you are suffering from depression, anxiety, fear of failure, trauma or relationship difficulties or you want to address pain management, performance anxiety or lack of motivation, I can work with you in a holistic way to heal the root cause of your issues.

I use NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), which is the study of the relationship between the mind, body, emotions, and actions. It utilises new understanding of how the brain works and enables you to identify and easily change the thought patterns which control your behaviour. Used separately or in conjunction with hypnotherapy, we can affect powerful change at the subconscious level. Hypnosis is a gentle process which helps you to achieve deep relaxation, where you can accept positive suggestions, updating the unconscious patterns which are compelling you to behave in a way that is unhelpful.

Qualifications

  • Master Practitioner & Master Coach in NLP, Timeline Therapy™ and Hypnosis
  • CPD Human Givens College in psychotherapy, including The Rewind Technique® for trauma (PTSD) & phobia
  • Certified Energy Codes® Coach, Dr Sue Morter Institute
